The following behaviors support the creation of reader navigation
to or across DITA topics.
- Tables of contents (TOCs)
- Generated from DITA maps; can be compiled from multiple DITA maps. Parts
of maps can be omitted from the generated TOC using the toc attribute.
- Related links
- Authored in individual topics, or generated from maps. Map-generated linking
can be controlled using the linking attribute.
- Indexing
- Generated from index entries occurring in topic bodies, topic prologs,
or DITA maps.
